Carers Active Day

Unpaid carers are invited to tie up their trainers and get active to celebrate Carers Active Together this Wednesday 15 April, part of Carers Active April.

North Lincolnshire is buzzing with activities, fitness classes and groups for unpaid carers to fit some physical activity into their day, boosting their physical and mental wellbeing.

During Carers Active Together day, unpaid carers are encouraged to explore any activity taking place in their area- in person- or online or share what they will do themselves on the day.

Carers Active, supported by Sport England, is a programme that aims to improve the physical and mental health of unpaid carers through activity, tackling many of these issues.

Throughout April LiveWell has been supporting Carers Active April in a bid to get carers in North Lincolnshire to get moving, take some time for themselves, feel more confident and connected.
