Become a litter picking hero

Throughout North Lincolnshire there are a number of groups that voluntarily carry out litter picking to help make our communities a cleaner and safer place to live. Below are a few examples:

- Scunthorpe Litter Pickers

- Barton Baggers

- Epworth Ecoists

- Kirton in Bloom

- Broughton Wombles

There are also many Town and Parish Councils that arrange litter picking sessions, plus an army of individuals and families.

In July 2024 we introduced volunteer litter picking pods in some areas as a trial. They can be found in the following locations and contain all the equipment you need - and to be returned afterwards
