About the Children's Multi-Agency Resilience & Safeguarding (CMARS) Partnership

Every local authority area in England has a Children’s Safeguarding Partnership, known as a Local Children’s Safeguarding Partnership (LCSP). These partnerships bring key organisations together to coordinate how children are safeguarded, protected and supported locally.

The CMARS Partnership is the multi-agency safeguarding partnership for North Lincolnshire, bringing together the Local Authority, Health, Police and wider partners, including the VCFSE sector, to ensure children are safeguarded effectively.

The partnership:

• brings organisations together to improve safeguarding practice
• shares learning and guidance
• supports early identification and prevention
• works to improve outcomes for children and young people

The team consists of dedicated professionals who support safeguarding work across North Lincolnshire.

Together, they coordinate partnership activity, provide guidance, and ensure effective safeguarding arrangements are in place.

The CMARS Partnership Training Programme offers a wide range of free safeguarding training for anyone who works or volunteers with children and young people.

Some courses are identified as core training, such as the Child Protection (CP) Masterclass and the Child Exploitation (CE) Masterclass. Additional training is regularly added to the programme in response to local priorities, learning from practice, and national safeguarding influences.

We also provide e‑learning courses, which can be accessed at any time via the CMARS Partnership website, offering flexible learning opportunities to support the workforce and volunteer sector.
