Safe Equestrian Alternative Learning Provsion
Safe Equestrian provides therapeutic learning support to students aged 8 to 16 who are struggling in their mainstream settings. Based on a farm, we provide opportunity for each student to learn to care for horses and farm animals.
Students also have therapeutic horse-riding lessons and join activities to promote social and emotional regulation. Safe offers educational programmes alongside the support in ASDAN, Functional skills and ABRS+.
We provide a safe space to discuss worries and concerns and support to the children and young person families. All referrals are made and support through schools, virtual schools, social worker, and any family support workers.
Please contact the centre for more information and how to join.
