Have you ever found yourself disliking all of the clothing and soft furnishings available in shops, wishing you could create your own instead? Learning to sew is a great way to become more creative with the garments and home items you own.

The Party Frock runs fun, relaxed sewing classes in the North Lincolnshire area. Whether you want to learn the very basics so you can repair and alter your clothing, to make the odd outfit here and there for yourself and your family, or to learn how to create clothing patterns from scratch using your own designs, we have courses throughout the year to suit you!

Sew With The Party Frock – Creative sewing tuition in North Lincolnshire

Our classes are run in 2 lovely local venues.  Monday evening and Tuesday morning at Grange Farm Community Centre in Scunthorpe and Thursday evening class in Broughton Village Hall.

We have monthly Sunday Sewcials, full day sewing classes! These are held at Broughton Village Hall once a month on a Sunday.

These sessions are slightly different to the weekly classes as there won’t be specific techniques taught. Bring along a sewing project that you either want some help with or that you just want to be able to work on without the interruptions of home. I will be on hand to help everyone with anything tricky. You will need your sewing kit, project components and sewing machine, there will be tables, irons and extension leads provided. There is also the usual haberdashery ‘shop’ for needles, pins etc in case you run out of bits and bobs.

This is a full day session so it will advisable to bring a pack up, although there will be a piece of cake for everyone, along with hot drinks, water and biscuits to help yourself to all day.
