If you answer ‘yes’ to any of the above, then come and join us. Scunthorpe and District u3a is a great way to meet people, make new friends and maybe try something new. All you need to do is take the first step with an enthusiasm and willingness to join in at the monthly meeting or one of the many interest groups on offer. Our monthly meetings feature a varied and high quality programme of speakers and we have several Interest Groups on offer. Membership entitles you to free entry at our monthly meetings and to join as many Interest groups as you wish to. What is the u3a? Some say its a youth club for recycled teenagers. Others that it is a life line for the lonely or bored. Many of us agree it’s the best thing since retirement! The u3a is a national self-help group with the motto is ‘Learn, Laugh, Live’ and we try and live up to that.
