All Inclusive wheelchair basketball for everyone. Whether disabled or not does not matter. Everyone is welcome from 7 years to 80 years of age. Wheelchairs are provided.
It is based on having fun and enjoying yourself, also to make people more familiar with disability awareness.

Steelers Wheelers Wheelchair Basketball
Wheelchair basketball for all, able bodied or disabled Steelers Wheelers offers people with disabilities the opportunity to take part in sport. We are a fully inclusive sport so that anyone can have go, regardless of their physical abilities. Why the community needs us Steelers Wheelers is the only wheelchair basketball sports club within a 25 mile radius of Scunthorpe. Our impact on the community We regularly have 20 people attend wheelchair basketball sessions each week, although the club has 30+ members. Half our membership have disabilities and are able to participate along side our able bodied members. Our club provides competitive inclusive sport, but is also a great social activity where everyone, regardless of their ability can get involved and have fun.
