Care Home Olympics

Care Homes across North Lincolnshire have signed up to take part in the Care Home Olympics, a six-week programme of activities designed to encourage residents to get moving and keep active during the winter months.

It’s not as easy to keep active when it’s cold outside and physical inactivity can lead to reduced muscle strength and mobility, an increased risk of falls, and a decline in mental health.

The Care Home Olympics is a six-week programme of activities that can be delivered within Care Homes and will provide residents with a reason to get moving in a fun, innovative and enjoyable way.

The Care Home Olympics is taking place from 22 January to 1 March and 12 Care Homes from North Lincolnshire have signed up.

Good luck to all those taking part!
