Congratulations to Kevin for recently completing the Couch to 5k course in Scunthorpe.
After tying up his shoelaces and putting on his running gear to complete the Scunthorpe Parkrun, Kevin completed his 5km mission in an amazing time of just half an hour!
After the run this is what he had to say:
“Nine weeks ago, I could not run, honestly when I started, I was ready to give up week one because I really struggled.”
“At the weekend I ran my first ever Parkrun (in 30 minutes)”.
“Thank you to Jayne and all your team and everyone at Progressive Runners in Scunthorpe, I feel like you have all changed my life with running”
Kevin is keen to continue his new hobby as he added: “I have already booked my first 10km race in 2024.”
