Documenting Northern Lincolnshire’s History
We are looking for volunteers to join our new Dynamic Collections project, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Are you interested in your local history? Or are you curious about how museums look after their objects? Join us behind the scenes at North Lincolnshire Museum.
You will join a team working to unearth new stories from across the collections. The project will bring these stories closer to the communities they represent.
You will also gain hands-on experience working with the collections. Volunteers will re-package, document, and research objects. They will also produce digital content and physical displays to share their discoveries.
Help us to preserve and celebrate North Lincolnshire’s fascinating history. No prior experience working with collections is needed. North Lincolnshire Museum will provide all necessary training.
